Workshop Series
These early literacy workshops delivers educators’ strategies to support a comprehensive literacy program for emergent, transitional and early conventional readers and writers.
Students who are at an emergent literacy level require different strategies than those approaching a conventional level. We’ve developed our workshops to focus on different levels of readers and writers with their specific needs.
Participants can attend all workshops or choose the ones that apply to the learners they support.
Our practical focused sessions can ensure your entire education community gets the most out of its Boardmaker investment.
Bridges first started training and supporting Boardmaker over 25 years ago. Since then, our professional development has gained an unmatched reputation for experience, expertise and quality.
With an instructional team that draws from decades of work in education, speech language pathology, assistive technology and occupational therapy, our Boardmaker sessions will support the implementation of the technology.
Clicker is the award-winning complete literacy toolkit that enables students of all abilities to significantly develop their reading and writing skills.
These sessions are the practical launch point your team needs to take full advantage of the personalized literacy supports in Clicker, and to learn how to apply this powerful tool to whole class instruction, too.
These sessions support educators who are new to Clicker or who haven’t used Clicker recently. Each session builds upon the skills explored during the previous session, so educators can develop their comfort in small chunks.
In this series, participants will discover all the ways educators can create so much in Widgit Online, so simply. Books, labels, flashcards, illustrated stories, communication boards, visual schedules, activities, timetables and so much more to support literacy learning and communication for a wide range of students across the curriculum.
With an instructional team that draws from decades of work in education, speech language pathology, assistive technology and occupational therapy, our Widgit Online sessions will deliver new skills to create and share materials with your students and classes right away.
