Improving Accessibility: The Latest updates from Clicker Apps
Bridges Canada is excited to announce the latest updates to Clicker Apps, available on iPad and Chromebook! These enhancements are designed to better meet the diverse needs of students and make tools more accessible than ever.
What are Clicker and Clicker Apps?
Clicker is the award-winning complete literacy toolkit that enables students of all abilities to significantly develop their reading and writing skills. Clicker is used on over half a million school computers worldwide.
The Clicker Apps are a convenient way to access Clicker on your Chromebook and/or iPad. They are included with Clicker school site license and 1+1 licenses.
For student support subscriptions, users can choose between Clicker or Clicker Apps.
What's new in Clicker Apps?
Centralized accessibility menu:
Clicker Apps has streamlined all accessibility options into a single Special Access menu.
This makes it easier than ever to tailor the settings to match each student’s specific access needs.
Switch compatibility & customizable scanning:
In the Special Access menu, you can now choose between one or two switches and adjust the scanning settings.
This new feature ensures an efficient and engaging experience for switch users, maximizing their abilities and learning experience with the Clicker Apps.
