The Bridges Membership
program is a new way to
benefit from our renowned
expertise, more than 100 years
of collective educational and
clinical experience and a wealth
of ready-made activities and
instructional materials.
Bridges Members Benefits:
Drop In Days
Every second Tuesday of the
month a Bridges Member can
come to our computer lab and
use our software and hardware
to create electronic activities
or printed materials to use in
the classroom (black and white
printing is free, colour printing

at a nominal charge).On these days,
a Bridges Assistive Technology expert will be available to provide guidance,
answer questions, offer tips and tricks, solve technical problems and provide advice.
Imagine being able to create
activities in OverlayMaker,
BoardMaker, Writing With
Symbols or Clicker; author and
print Boardmaker materials;
prepare tests and work sheets in
Kurzweil, SOLO or MathPad Plus;
play with and compare several
applications; experiment with
switches, toys, communication
devices for curriculum activities…
all with the one-on-one advice
and support of a Bridges AT
expert!
Ready Made Activities
Via our website, Bridges
members have access to dozens
of templates and ready made
activities created by Bridges
for Canadian curricula in

IntelliTools, Writing with Symbols,
Clicker, Boardmaker and others.
We also have tip sheets for
customizing learning or studying
environments in Kurzweil and/
or SOLO activities, adapting
curricula, loading PCS metafiles
in Clicker, websites of electronic
books, downloading images from
the Internet etc.

Loan Pool
Members have access to our
loan pool for $15 if we ship to
